Feature Release: Magnolia Integrates With Google Drive

Users can now export all or parts of strategic briefs directly into Google Docs and Slides, as well as PDFs.

Why This Feature Matters

  • Magnolia now even more closely follows a typical agency’s workflow, including presenting briefs to clients.

  • Users will save hours converting briefs into slides.

  • Work will stay in-sync and on-brand across platforms.

  • Stakeholders can see briefs – or preview parts of them – in their preferred format.

  • Junior planners can easily share pieces of the brief for approval throughout the strategic planning process.

Getting Started With Exports

  1. Log in at app.magnolia-made.com. No account? No problem. Begin your free trial instead.

  2. Open the strategic plan you wish to export (or start a new one).

  3. To export part of your brief, click the ellipses in the top right corner during any step of the strategic plan and select one of the three “Export” options – PDF, Google Slides, or Google Docs.

  4. To export your entire, completed brief, navigate to “Final Strategy Review” and select from the same three “Export” options in the top right corner.

The first time you export from Magnolia, you will be asked to authorize the connection between the app and your Google workspace. From there, your exporting capabilities are unlimited
